Chicken nuggets are traditionally known favorite kids food. When I made those for first time they disappeared very quickly and there was not a child insight,why not? juicy nuggets crispy and golden chicken which makes mouth watery. However home made chicken nugget are so flavorful, soft,juicy and finger licking, that no one could stop and the best part is they are actually very easy to make. I use to make at least once in a week on Friday with special ambur briyani.
how to make chicken nuggets?
I used boneless skinless chicken for this recipe. I prefer to marinate the chicken with curd,black pepper, ginger and garlic paste overnight. You can skip this by using vinegar but the softness and taste of the nugget is best with curd marination.

INGREDIENTS FOR MARINADE:
- 1/4 kg boneless chicken.
- 100 gm curd
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp lemon
- egg white
INGREDIENTS FOR BATTER:
- 4-5 tsp corn flour powder
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- A pinch of salt
- Bread crumbs/Rusk

DIRECTIONS FOR MARINATION:
- Take a bowl, add chicken, white pepper, ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, curd. Then mix well. Refrigerate for at least 4 hrs/whole night if possible.
- Add egg white to above marinade, Refrigerate for 30 min.
DIRECTIONS FOR BATTERING NUGGET:
- Take a bowl, add corn flour powder, salt, white pepper. add little water to it to make it batter
- Apply the batter over the marinated chicken.
DIRECTIONS FOR CRISPY COATING FOR NUGGET:
- Take crushed rusk/bread crumbs and coat battered chicken, let it set aside for 30 min.
DIRECTIONS FOR DEEP FRY:
- Take oil in a pan, oil should be fuming hot then lower the flame
- Deep fry the chicken till the golden colour appears. Now your crispy spicy nugget is ready, serve hot with sauce or mayonies. Enjoy the dish!!
